Dotonbori is one of those spots in Osaka you see in the tourism articles and videos. The iconic advertising billboard of the running man for confectionary company Glico leads the infamy of the area. We travelled down there on our first evening in Osaka (even got lost in the underground subway system more than once having been herded in there by the rain).
Saw the running man, got rained on, ate my first giant waffle cheese coin, took some photos, enjoyed a mango smoothie and then returned to the hotel for the first night in Osaka.
