Two Sundays ago, we headed up to Scarborough Beach to chillax on the Sunset Veranda as part of the Fringe Festival. We were promised live music, shows, food and drinks along with a great view of course!

It was all held at the Scarborough Beach reserve and ran between 5pm and 10pm, where they created a little segregated area with what seems like all their leftover pallets to make a great little beach site fort.

We were treated to some live acoustic music, and drinks from a pop up bar. Disappointingly there was only one stall to eat, but we nipped into Scarborough to have a sample of local tastes. I’m a little ashamed that after being in Perth for over a year, its the first time I’ve actually stopped in Scarborough.

The Sunset Veranda did deliver some great views. The water to the west and the Scarborough strip to the west!
